CARDET is the leading e-learning and design center in the region that works with partners around the globe on projects in various fields. A big part of the work involves the design and development of innovative, interactive solutions, websites, software, mobile apps, eLearning, and games. Three new positions are open for full-time engagement. The employment package is attractive and based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator will collaborate with the Head of Technology, Project Managers, Developers, Designers, Researchers, Instructional Designers, and the management team, to ensure that projects are completed within budget while meeting customer requirements and expectations. For this position, we are looking to employ a high caliber individual who demonstrates the following attributes:

  • Strong writing, communication, and organization skills
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Dynamic personality with strong teamwork skills
  • Excellent understanding of IT, design, production, and development processes and tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willing to learn and take initiatives
  • Strong problem solving skills

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project work and manage schedule
  • Work with the Head of Technology to assign tasks and distribute workload
  • Maintain project documentation, plans and reports
  • Liaison between internal and external teams to complete a project
  • Ensure project success by following set guidelines and indicators
  • Coordinate communication among the various stakeholders and support to the project managers to ensure projects finish on time and within budget
  • Organize meetings and record minutes and action points
  • Create project schedules in collaboration with the Head of Technology and Project Managers
  • Create task lists for team members
  • Monitor project progress, budget, hours
  • Resolve operational problems and identify work process improvements
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Keep all members of the team up-to-date with current information and paperwork
  • Quality management
  • Give weekly updates to the Head of Technology on production work status and any issues that require higher-level intervention to ensure production work is on track
  • Execute any other duty assigned by the Head of Technology and the Management team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field
  • A Master’s degree will be an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience and understanding of design and development using various tools
  • A proven track record of successful project implementation
  • Experience in various project management applications such as PRINCE2, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office
  • The ability to foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Web Developer

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or relevant subject
  • 1+ year experience in web design & development
  • Good knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML and SQL
  • Prior experience with CMS systems (Joomla, WordPress etc.)
  • Basic understanding of design principles and front-end web development
  • Results oriented and able to work independently when necessary
  • Passion to discover new technologies and explore new ideas
  • Good knowledge of the English language

Additional Qualifications
Any of the below qualifications will be considered an advantage:

  • Portfolio of previous work in the field is a significant advantage
  • Experience in LMS systems such as Moodle etc.
  • Experience in web design
  • Experience in large scale project development
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment using source control software such as Git or SVN

Course Developer

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Graphics / Communication Design, Multimedia, Computer Science or relevant subject
  • Passion to learn about new technologies & tools
  • Creativity & ability to take narratives and develop relevant illustrations
  • Results oriented and able to work independently when necessary
  • Team-spirit
  • Good knowledge of the English language

  • Experience in course authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline is a significant advantage
