CARDET in cooperation with the consultancy firm INNOVADE LI LTD have been granted with the project “Research with regards to the needs of asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection and whether those are covered by existing programs/ projects. Identification of Best Practices.” The project was awarded to the consortium following an open call for proposals from the Asylum Service of the Ministry of Interior under the European Refugee Fund. The project is co-funded by the EU Solidarity Funds (75%) and the Republic of Cyprus (25%). The objective of the project is to identify the needs of asylum seekers in reception and integration processes. The research is expected the uncover the needs of asylum seekers, the effectiveness of the projects targeting them and register relevant best practices.
